Applying for a Scholarship

Scholarships are awarded to successful applicants after a review process that includes application form, essay, interview and receipt of references, and permission and release forms. Awards for students are based on need and, in most cases, are full scholarships covering all travel and meal expenses. The board reserves the right to make partial scholarships available for students. Scholarships for educators will cover seventy-five percent of the travel and meal costs. Applicants must submit all materials at least ninety days before a scheduled trip.

Follow These Steps To Apply:

1. Select the trip you are applying for by visiting the Scheduled Trips page.
2. Download and print out the appropriate form below (Student or Educator) and fax it
    to the Foundation at 203-461-9921.
3. Remember, all materials must be submitted 90 days before a trip.
