Jack's friends

When Jack doesn't know the answer to something and is too lazy to make something up, he will often ask his friend -- a "real" scientist -- to help him out. His friend works at a real science place. Here is his web page.

Jack has another friend -- a "real" scientist (well, an engineer) -- who is chock full of useful information. This friend doesn't have a web page and would probably prefer to remain anonymous, which is a good idea considering the nature of his work. Suffice it to say that he trots the globe, armed only with Newton's laws, to discover the downhill direction of water.
