Coldness
by Jack Gaskella
I am an atom
It's so cold I cannot move
Brr-rrr-rrr-rrr-rrr

Leverage
by Jack Gaskella
Trying hard, can’t go
Slow and easy wins the race
Turn, turn, turn, up, up

Electric Stove
by Jack Gaskella
Turn up the current
Shoving electrons, hard work
Tsss, ow, ow, that hurts!

Sound
by Jack Gaskella
The air is moving
High and low pressure repeats
Hear the vibration

Limericks by Jack Gaskella

Phase Transformation
by Jack Gaskella
When liquid converts to a gas,
the volume required is vast.
It can't stay in place.
To confine it in space
will result in one heck of a blast!

Use Your Head
by Jack Gaskella
When you cannot get something to go
And you’re taking it easy and slow
Now here is the trick
Just get a big stick
Then your brains, skill, and muscle will show

Ohm's Law
by Jack Gaskella
When current passes through stuff
The resistance encountered’s enough
If you like it or not
It’s gonna get hot
So conductors have got to be tough.

Music
by Jack Gaskella
I ponder the musical sector
The beautiful sounds are like nectar
The harmony’s nice
I never think twice
My brain is a perfect detector

Jack 3:16-18

16Behold! I have sent unto you a physicist to explain the ways of nature – the ways and laws set forth at the beginning of time, experienced by all who dwell in this place.  17But beware brethren and sistern! I tell you this. Surely, not all who listen will hear, and not all who hear will understand, and a few are not even listening. For great and mighty are the ways of nature – and sometimes a bit complicated.  18Therefore, listen closely, but believe not all that is said. Verily, it is far better to take everything with a grain of salt then to believe every word that spews forth from the mouth of the physicist, for he will make stuff up if he doesn’t know the answer.
Jack 3:16-18   (Peterson)
16Hey there! Here comes the scientist to try and tell you how stuff works.  17But don’t have a hissy fit or freak out if you don’t understand – sometimes it’s just hard to explain.  18And don’t believe everything that you hear, especially if the scientist is a man. Better turn on your bullshit detector, ‘cause he’ll just as soon make something up as look at you.
