the amazon review gives away way too much of this book, so i'm not even going to link to it. just read it. i thought maybe it was pointless to tell people to read, because who does anyway?? but then, i let tim borrow the copy i got for $2 at the Book Outlet on the blvd. and he read 200 pages in a day. and tim <u>never</u> reads. i guess what i'm trying to say is, this book is good. it's funny. it's worth reading, i think. i just read Max Barry's next book, Jennifer Government, and that was good too. a little harder to follow with all the characters, you really have to read it in one day to keep it straight in your head. But, back to Syrup. READ IT. There is a character named Sneaky Pete for tupac's sake!

that's spanish for "talk to her." rent this movie. buy this movie. do whatever you can to see this movie. pedro almodovar is a complete weirdo, and you have to see just how weird i mean by watching this movie. i saw this MONTHS ago and i still think about it every once in a while. who cares that it's spanish subtitled. you won't even notice (unless you are illiterate, but then, you wouldn't be able to read this page, now, would you?).
