good things...

movie.

Signs was not Unbreakable, but it was good. M. Night Shyamalan is awesome. ( I pronounce it Shamaylahana... and then I just trail off. That is probably really disrespectful of me, but I've got nothing but love for him, so I think we can remain on good terms even though I will continue to butcher his last name with no reverance to ever learning the correct pronounciation). I just like the way M. does things. When I saw this, on opening night, with a ticket stub in my hand that said "Signs," (I didn't sneak in, what are you talking about?) the entire audience was completely silent. There were no ass' with cell phones ringing and when something happened onscreen the entire audience reacted together. I don't know of any other movies out right now that can captivate an audience as well. Or maybe, I just saw it with a really weird bunch. Who knows? Anyway, Signs was about 4,000,000 times better than xXx, which beat Signs this week at the box office for some inexplicable reason. My yahoo review of xXx pretty much sums it all up... Anyway, Signs is one of those movies you've got to dedicate yourself to from start to finish. Tim didn't fall asleep, so that's gotta be a good sign. ok... i'm silly...whatevs...

book.

I read this book in under 24 hours. The back had me sold when I read "Imagine Holden Caufield's sister, Phoebe..." This book is about an NYU student, who has to make some interesting career choices to make it through... Going Down was really fast paced, and a good read, if you don't mind being subjected to a character who becomes a call girl. It was sad, but also laughable at times. The author, Jennifer Belle had a great style. Now I'm out of books to read once again... Time to go shopping on Amazon...

play.

Very rarely do I ever have a chance to play a game online, I'm just so sooooo busy. (yeah right). I am completely addicted to Monkey Cliff Diving. When I am not playing, I feel guilty for not playing it, like I should be playing it more. It's beginning to affect me psychologically. Everytime a monkey's skull cracks open I get so angry. Why didn't he hit the wave? Why? It is my goal to get on the high score list, and I will not give up until I am on there. You can try too. C'mon. Try. You know you want to.

go.

Now that I am no longer a faithful Regal Cinemas employee, I have no reservations with saying that Cineplex Odeon at Niagara Square is about five thousand times better. I've never had anything go wrong while I've seen a movie there, and how many times has something gone wrong at Regal? Daily??? Plus, the prices at Odeon are way cheaper. Their prices in Canadian beat our prices in American. You don't even have to bother to convert the money to figure it out. Like 7 something in Canadian is cheaper than 7.50 in American right??? Why pay more? That's ridiculous. Now ticket prices are the same all day and night long there and you're still getting in for cheaper than at the Regal. All of their theatres have large, curved screens. They have a full on WALL of slushie icey things, sitting areas (the other day after xXx they didn't even kick us out), free movie magazines, a full cafe, an awesome lobby... I think their popcorn is way better too (and cheaper!). If you compare them at just about every factor, Cineplex Odeon beats Regal everytime. So what if you have to pay $2.50 to get over the border? You're getting the movie experience of a lifetime! hehe. It's really easy to get to too. If you're coming from the Rainbow Bridge, you just take the QEW towards Fort Erie and get off on the first exit, McCloud Road. Make a right, and it's right there in front of you. There's a mall there too. To get home, just take the QEW towards Toronto and follow the signs back to the bridge. It doesn't even take 10 minutes. Go there for a movie you really wanna see in a good environment. Cineplex Odeon puts Regal to shame. Absolute SHAME. For movie times, click here. Check it out!
