Saturn

The Ringed Planet

Saturn is the second-largest planet in the solar system. It has 18 moons. Saturn is the only planet with rings that can be seen from Earth. These rings are not solid. They are made up of millions of small pieces of rocks, dusts, and ices that orbits the planet.

NASA's new Casini mission plans to explore the atmosphere of Saturn by dropping a probe through the atmosphere to see what it is made of. Casini is the person who gave his name to the gap between Saturn's rings which can be seen from earth based telescopes .
