Mars

The Red Rock

Mars is the planet most like Earth. It has frozen water near its north and south poles. One day on Mars lasts slightly longer than one on Earth. Mars has four seasons, but each year is almost as long as two Earth years.

Embedded in a rock from Mars, scientists found remains of life. They may have been left by creatures that were very tiny, or microscopic . They probably lived on Mars more than 3 billion years ago.
