THE RUMOR MILL July 26, 2018 Though it seemed impossible to whip out four 8-bit armageddon CDs when I haven't done it for years... I have 40 tracks so far out of the proposed 120. This is in the matter of two weeks. I do need to extend, add to, and touch up a lot but I'm definitely getting there. Warlock consisted of 105 tracks including all of the outtakes and drafts in half a year, so I might as well keep up and try to prepare a lot of stock for companies and fans of my odd music. The site is still not uploaded and won't be until I get each page a functioning page itself, even if it's just an under construction sort of deal. I'm going one page at a time regardless. The garage studio still needs walls and a ceiling but has insulation, just not the final touch. I am out here most of the time that I'm in Monrovia, so it's serving its purpose, plus it has A/C. I've made three guitar tracks on two seperate occasions. I tried to buy a preamp but it didn't do its job. The mixing board is also failing at volumes. It'll be either too quiet or far too loud with no in between to use. So the guitar music will take longer to do because I can't right now. I've done everything but plugging the amp directly into the computer, which I did years ago successfully, but was warned against. If that works I'm set. I'm just being lazy doing other things, like this. This is just the latest idea out of like 100. I've wanted to enlist some other guys to help out in places with bass or drums that are organic for a realistic touch, though I can do all three. This would be for The Noise Diaries continuing albums/collections. I'm giving myself 2 years at minimum to finish this monstrosity, but I'm already getting there fast.
