Contributor's Note

I am a full-time student at UNCP in Robeson County,      North Carolina. I commute everyday with my brother, who is a sophomore. I am a junior by the way. I transferred to UNCP from RCC, a community college in Lumberton, NC. I work on campus for the International Programs Director as her assistant. I am working for her as part of my work study. This helps pay for tuition and books. I am majoring in English and may minor in Education. I would like to teach high school English or join the Air Force, if the teaching does not pan out.
My father is retired Navy, my mother is a 1st grade school teacher, my sister is married to an Paratrooper in the Army, and I mentioned that my brother is a student. The rest of my family live in other states. I love love to swim, play volleyball and soccer, and absolutely love to watch movies. I love animals. I have five cats, five dogs, two turtles, one hermit crab, and a ferret. I would love to have a Shire horse and Pot-Belly pig, but my parents refuse to let any more animals into the family.
I love to travel. Because my father was in the Navy my family has traveled all over the world. I've lived in Guam, England and Adak and have traveled to Bali, Hawaii, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden. I loved every minute and want to travel more. I would like to try China and Russia next.
I have a small group of close friends, Brian and Alex being my best friends. Brian is currently on tour with RRI, a Christian singing group and Alex is attending NC State majoring in Political Science.
On a personal note. I re-arrange my room about once a month. My friend Alex says I have a problem but I just like change. I loved traveling because I got to pack up and move to a new place, get a new house, and a new room. I guess that is why I change my room around so much. I Don't Have A Problem Alex! The first picture is of my brother and I at our high school, the second picture is of my brother and I at a poetry reading, and the third is of my dogs, Ploof is the one standing and Bradley is the one on the ground. Are they precious or what?
