Poetry
Poetry has never been one of my strengths, except, ironically enough, when I am searching for strength. It has been a soothing balm for frayed, worried, or depressed nerves more than once. Three times so far, to be exact. The inspiration for each remains personal, but I felt compelled to share.

This poem was written in very loving memory of a dear friend of mine who passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly the day after her 21st birthday. I framed a copy and presented it to her family.
