A Thief Lurks

Dear Mrs. Eisenman,

I was distraught and distressed when I heard of Paul's backsliding into his former thieving ways.  I was afraid it would happen and tried to warn Ginger early in the relationship.  But, Ginger is a dear friend and after she made her decision, I felt I just had to let it go.

Ginger called last night and through her tears described how Paul had driven a wedge into the soul of your family by stealing an ivy towel.  I have always admired and enjoyed the tight knit and loving Eisenman clan and now Paul has torn the very fabric of that trust.

I enclose and ivy towel to try to mend the damage your formally favorite son-in-law has done.
