The Mystery Before Christmas
Diane Eisenman
Twas the week before Christmas,
I was out shopping around...
Through the hustle and bustle, would you belive what I found?
Out in the parking lot, there on the ground,
A rectangular box, dirty and brown,
I would have walked by it, but what caught my eye,
Was the towel hanging out out, with ivy I spied!!
I heard through the grapevine, such a towel was amiss,
I stared at the that box,
I had to open it!
Inside I looked and thought what is this??
Worms, lures, and spinners...
This belongs to a fisherman!!
I dug through that box, looking for clues,
Andd what I did find will surely make news!
There in the bottom, in small nook,
To my wandering eyes...
A Nature & Bird book!!
I knew at that point, it was perfectly clear,
As Muzzy suspected, it's just what she'd feared!
Without a doubt, the pieces all fit,
That old Paul Hinchcliff...
He must have did it!!!
