We strive for greater democratic control in a true democratic form.  The situation currently installed does not allow the common worker to influence the decisions made by the highest levels, regardless of any high-minded claims made by those who occupy the seats of power.  Simply put, this "democracy" is not a democracy.  The working man or woman can voice their opinions only once every four or five years at an election - an election called at the time and choosing of those who hold the power.  Local democracy, a grass-roots democracy, is the direction that the Commonwealth needs to move.

We advocate the creation of workers', soldiers' and farmers' councils in every place of business.  We advocate the nationalization of industry and staunchly oppose the plans by the GDC government to destroy what has been built over the past years.

We are the only party to oppose the Constitution of 1511 on the grounds that it was not drafted by the people.  It was created by the Old Guard of the Unionist Party, fed to the people under the disguise of freedom and democracy, and accompanied with enough media glitter to make it go down easily.  This new constitution entrenches a new, faceless bureaucracy firmly in the lives of all people -- people increasingly cut out of the decision making process.

At election time, put your vote somewhere it can make a difference.  A vote for Communism is a vote for yourself.
