| The Commonwealth, like most governments,
is divided into three tiers: executive, legislative and judicial. The Executive
branch of the government is embodied by the President of the Commonwealth, an elected
position with no term limits. The Legislative branch is the Commonwealth Congress,
an elected body of 501 representatives from all member states. The Judicial branch
extends from the lowest municipal courts right up to the Commonwealth Court, the highest
court in the land. |
