About Metamorphosis
A short story
ENATIONS:

for only a moment does a raging river
scar the landscape of a desert land
its path unknown
its turbulence strong
it sweeps down raging through narrow trails
bringing sorrow and pain unto those caught in its way
for only a moment is a man's anger kindled
striking out blindly his wrath undirected
his vile great he curses madly hurling
his darts of torment to the weary and wronged
bringing sorrow and pain unto those caught in their way
for only a moment does a peaceful scene
erupt into hatred and violence bringing distress and woe
unto those it nursed and tended so carefully
and in their hurt do they turn away
bringing sorrow and pain to one trapped in his own ways.
