A short story

ENATIONS:

Celestial dawn and tattered seed
Together we have grown
To settle within the calm
Of the forest's ease
Where we found the comfort
That only our love can bring.

Beneath the shadowed scenic greens
We've found the joy
That within the ground
Ebbs daily in its toil
To carry on the changing ways
That life commands of all of us.

With the distant, turbulent sky
We've crossed the myriads
Of flower-scented arms
To arrive at some wondrous site
Wherein the vexations of time
Died beneath the sweetness of youth.

Within the calm of one another
We've sought and found
The lovely soundless song
And we too shall praise
The being of this happiness.

With the winds of ceaseless change
It will be you and I
Together outside the halls of time
For infinity is our bed
And this moment our life.
