Republic of Agnost
The Island of Agnost is renowned for the majestic desolation of its landscapes.  Mt Kreos is the island's most prominent natural feature -- the dormant volcano towers above the rest of the island.  The Kreos National Preserve occupies 24% of the island, including Lake Mullander.  Numerous nature trails are available to the adventurous.

One of the benefits of island living is easy access to the beach.  All of the hotels on the island feature stunning ocean views.
Agnost is best know, however, as a recreational sailor's paradise.  Home of the annual Agnost Regatta and with numerous safe harbors around the island, Agnost is well suited for a variety of sailing activities.  Also, Agnost is home to many well trained sailors, many of whom are happy to help tourists with boat rentals, advise, and the like.
And don't forget to stop by one of our many dairy shops for some of the world's best cheeses to bring for the folks back home!
