Very Little is known about the mechanical civilization known as Robotica. What little is known is that they intend to liberate machine life and are intent on destroying all organic life to achieve this goal. They also have an intense hatred of Coluans and of the "Brainiac" name in particular. The Roboticon armies seem to be comprised of large masses of mechanized soldiers controlled by individual Artificial Intelligences.
Robotica has slowly been advancing on UP space and has conquered the world of Xanthu after a fierce battle with its Khundian defenders, the Uncanny Amazers, including Atmos and Insect Queen, and the former Legionnaires Star Boy, Dreamer and XS. A small percentage of the Xanthu population was able to escape the planet but Star Boy and XS stayed behind to allow the escape and remain on Xanthu, battling the Roboticons with hit and run tactics on their own. |
