Jenni was brought into the Legion during the UP draft. She is the grandaughter of Barry Allen, the Flash from the 20th century and her heritage gives her a direct link to the Speed Force from which she derives her powers. Jenni had been unable to access her abilities until she and her father were abducted and experimented upon by the alien race known as the Dominators. Due to manipulation by the Time Trapper, XS was able to meet many of the speedsters from the 20th century, including her own grandfather, and she gained greater control over her own speed powers.
Jenni has acces to the Speed Force, which allows her to move at superhuman speeds and vibrate through solid objects.
During the year that half of the Legion was "Lost" in uncharted space, Jenni was visiting Star Boy and Dreamer on Xanthu when the planet was attacked by Robotica. She and Star Boy provided cover as the remainder of the Xanthu resistence escaped to UP space and remain there alone. |
