Luornu is the legal ward of RJ Brande and worked as his personal assistant prior to the formation of the Legion of Super-Heroes. During the Legion's introduction to the UP council, her quick action in saving the life of Brande and President Chu caught the attention of Cosmic Boy and she was promptly inducted as a full-fledged member. She is also a member of the Legion Espionage Squad and is trained in a Carggite martial art known as Tri-jitsu.
Luornu has the native Carggite ability to divide herself into 3 individual bodies. Unlike most Carggites, each of these bodies has a unique personality: Orange is the sensitive, submissive personality; Purple is the impulsive, aggressive personality; Neutral is the balanced personality.
During the year that half of the Legion was "Lost" in uncharted space, Luornu attended to Brande's business affairs as he worked to prepare for the reformation of the Legion. |
