Tribes on the western continent of Nexus dont use the magic that city-folk use; instead, their powers come from the same ideas that the Native Americans and pagans of Europe constructed. Each tribe will have at least one Shaman, Maester, or Seer, depending on where you are. They will be the most spiritually powerful beings in the tribe. The following lists explain some of the things that tribal creatures use that other beings may not.

A. Candles
Any one candle burning will effect anyone who is in the light it casts.

black repel negativity, dark magic; creates confusion or discord among enemies (protect from black)
blue loyalty, group success, peace, harmony
brown contacting nature spirits, intuition, money
yellow good fortune, money, knowledge, happiness, intuition (+1 to all thieves)
green abundance, fertility, healing, balancing unstable situation
indigo balance karma, neutralize negative magic (protect from black)
pink pure love, friendship, spiritual awakening, healing (+1 to all defense rolls)
purple remove curses and bad luck, drive away evil; protection, contacting spirits (negates Death spells)
red sexual energy, passionate love, strong willpower, good health (+1 to attack)
gray development of psychic abilities (+2 to shamans)
white purity, truth, spirituality, contacting spirit helpers, balancing aura, strengthening vibrations (+1 to any other candle effects)
yellow strengthens intellect, confidence, concentration (+1 range attacks)

B. Special Weaponry
Most tribal creatures wont have special swords and shields, but they make up for it.

blow darts (1d4): usually made from wood, then soaked in the appropriate mixture. Darts can cause poison, sleep, paralysis

C: Stones
Tribal creatures use stones in their jewelry for protection as well as style.

agate: plentiful crops, ward off insomnia
amethyst: absorbs negativity (protect from dark)
aquamarine: protection (+1 defense rolls)
bloodstone: strengthens, improves talents and abilities (+1 defense and attack roll, +5 mana points)
carnelian: focus, increases physical and mental power (+1 attack roll, control wereform)
celestite: rejuvenating, dream recall (prevents unconsciousness)
hematite: invulnerability in battle, protect from blood loss (+2 defense rolls)
lapis lazuli: protection from spirits
malachite: anti-depressant
moonstone: calms emotions, balances (control over wereform)
tigers eye: improves sight, focuses (see easily in darkness and over distances)

Many packs are known for selling healing herbs and gems charged to aid its owner. Lycanthropes have a common tracking knowledge, and know uses for all stones, plants and creatures. Players who choose this race do not roll for mana points.
