Goblin and Trick, respectively. In my neon-orange slippers.

Well, since you came here Im going to assume you want to know about me. Im nothing special really, just your average teenager. Actually, I just turned nineteen in March (2004, in the event that this website is ancient), so I wont be a teenager much longer. I graduated with the class of 2003 from Laurel High School, in Maryland. I lived in Laurel most of my life (barring one year in Baltimore, and we live in Pasadena now). Most of my day is filled with reading, writing or drawing, but I do other things, too. In fact, I love video games; RPGs in particular. Chrono Trigger and Lunar: SSSC are among my favorites. I also play Magic: The Gathering, though I profess Im not amazing at it. Quite recently I snatched up some Dragon Dice and thats an interesting game, too.

Books well, I have a lot of books. My most favorite books at the moment are those in the Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin (www.georgerrmartin.com), but I also read Anne Rice (www.annerice.com), Piers Anthony (www.hipiers.com), and a lot of other authors more sporadically than the aforementioned. I have all of the Xanth books except for the two most recent (I stopped at Xone of Contention), and all of Rices
Vampire Chronicles, including Vittorio and Pandora. I have her Beauty series and Exit to Eden, as well. I didnt like Belinda so much, but I was transfixed by Violin and Servant of the Bones. Blackwood Farm is my favorite of the Vampire books, and Vittorio, Lestat, Amadeo, Marius and Quinn are my favorite vampires.

I write, though I have trouble finishing stories, as you would have noticed if you read some of them. Most of them take place in my universe, Nexus. Ive loved many of these characters and places since I was eleven or twelve, and many of the creatures living there are almost as old as me. I have so many tales to tell about Nexus and its inhabitants, but I seem to have trouble writing them down. Another series of books Im working on is titled A Cross of Garnet. The main character is a vampire with multiple personalities, or maybe schizophrenia. Im not sure, as Im no psych. Hes very interesting to write about. When I was twelve, I finished my first story. It came in at 80 pages, 12 pt Book Antiqua. It was a fan-fiction on Chrono Trigger. I still have it, but I read it now and can only laugh at some of the things Id written.

I live with my Dad and my sister. Amanda is really my half-sister, and my Dad isnt biologically related to me,
but he might as well be. Sometimes, I feel like he treats Amanda better than me and thats the first reason that comes to mind, but I never think rationally when Im upset. I know he loves me just as much as he loves my sister. Blood doesnt really matter in this family. My mom passed away December 31, 2002. She was my best friend and my soul mate, and I know shes watching over me. My friends and family were very supportive for us when she faded. I dont think I could have made it without my friends.

I have a boyfriend, tooactually, a fianc, but no one in my family really recognizes it. I think its because Im so young, and they think it wont last. Well, they can believe what they want; I was never one to hinder others thoughts. But, back to Nick. I think that after Mom died, there was this huge nothingnessa blackness, if you willthat surrounded me, pulling me in, engulfing everything Id ever
known and loved. Nick helped make that horrible empty feeling go away. Even to this day, when I can feel the
blackness closing in, all I have to do is call on my happiest memories of Nick or Mom, and it ebbs away. Nick is the light that chases the darkness away. And I love him.

A question I get a lot is, What does JKW stand for? Well, before you can ask that question, Ill tell you. J, K and W are Jewels initials. Jewel Kshenya Weretiger. Jewel was my first anthro, and Ill always relate her to the earlier times in that part of my life. Shes just as important in my life as Nexus in its entirety.

One more thing, before I go. I simply must tell you about my pets. I have two rats and a cat. My dad has a python, named Monty. (Ha.) My cats name is Kramer. Hes an old boy, 10 or 11 or something like
that. I love him very much. He thinks Im his mum, and he sucks on my ear like hes feeding. I wouldnt mind, but his breath reeks of fish. My rats are Goblin, after Quinns ghost in Blackwood Farm, and Trick. Goblins albino, and Ive had her longer, so naturally Im more attached. Trick is black with white on her forepaws and belly. The hairs on her tail are black until the tip, where theyre white. Its kind of like that dog, Dipstick, from the 101 Dalmatians movie. Shes named Trick because she thinks shes an acrobat! On the way home from the store, she managed to get out of the box I was carrying her in. She likes to jump; so much that, if the cage door is open, shell jump out of it and onto my shoulder.
Arucard, of course.
