Welcome to my bright sunny garden, let's
enjoy the warmth of the sun and the gentle breeze. Listen to the chirping
of my fine feathered friends and watch them splashing about in their morning
bath. MMmmm I just love the early morning
fragrances and watching the flowers swaying in this early morning breeze.
Ahhh this is heaven on earth.
:::smiling:::
   There is something deeply
satisfying about growing plants. Sowing that tiny little seed or little
clipping and watching it sprout and grow into a thriving plant To
know that you nurtured it and it's
 your accomplishment.
   ~It's A Plant's
Life~
"
Whew I sure could use a big drink of
water, I'm parched. My leaves are so dry I feel itchy all over."
Pansy complained profusely. "What a day it's been!
First thing this morning I awoke to the sun glaring in my eyes, I wasn't
even finished sleeping, I wanted to snooze a bit
longer."
"Itchy. Itchy!! And you're fussing?
Look at me, just look!!! exclaimed
Daisy.
Barely able to hold
her head up, so dismayed was she. "One of my beautiful green leaves
almost totally gone, and look this one all tattered and chewed. It's
a wonder I can sleep at all, knowing what lurks about after
dark."
Rose
looked down upon her
gardenmates from her lofty trellis, how droll listening to their
groaning tirades each morning. She rearranged her scented petals in
the fresh sunlight and admired herself in the shiney bumper which she knew
was there especially for her. After all anyone as lovely as she, has
to admire their own reflection.

Stretching her long graceful neck, yawning,
releasing early morning's sweet fragrance,
Lily
smiled gently hoping today for a
bit of water. Ah her verdant skin definitely needed some moisturizer.
"It shan't be a bad day at all once the sun moves on a bit. Just
be patient and see. I feel it's going to be a marvelous
day!"
Impatience
tried to smooth
the wrinkles from her wilting petals. "Work Work Work,, if I had some
water these wrinkles would take care of themselves." she sighed patiently.
Hearing the tinkling laughter of
Bluebell
she turned her head in
the gentle breeze and wished her neighbor a pleasant
morning.
  Slender, delicate
Cosmos
swayed in the fresh air,
such a happy go lucky flora, she never seemed to have any concerns. Always
dancing merrily at the slightest whim, almost coquettish in front of the
cool Ferns and Johnny
Jump-ups. She knew
she was watched continually with open disproval by thematronly
Marigold
whostood staunchly
around the borders, wearing her heavy musky perfume.
With ants marching up and around the
ticklish stem of
Phlox, she giggled and laughed, and blushed bright pink.
While behind her Miss
Morning
Glory so agile and acrobatic,,
did twists and turns on the fence endlessly from sunup to sundown. Her
lovely lavender trumpets open in the sunlight.
The timely
Four-o-clocks
who were awake early this
morning while the others were sleeping, have closed up tight and won't
show their pretty faces and colorful frocks til evening's clock strikes four.
Suddenly they will yawn and reveal their loveliness for an hour or
two. Then they will sleep until the early morning's clock strikes four
once more. Shhhhhhhhh.... don't wake them...

When spring approaches the gardener in
me gets a strong yearning to dig into some rich loamy soil.
With experience you learnby touch and smell if the
soil is good and fertile, or if it is depleted ofall of it's nutrients
and is worn out.
Be aware. Be Humane.
Be a Childs' Friend.
An array of wildflowers.
Pretty little faces of pansies.

 Flowers,
plants,flowers!
You don't kerplunk a plant into worn out
soil, just as you don't put totally worn out shoes on a child.
For if you neglect their feet, you
usually neglect other things like water, nourishment, and
love.
