BIOLOGY COURSES

Courses not offered this academic year (fall/winter terms) are indicated by the words "NOT OFFERED THIS YEAR" below the course description. Nevertheless, students should refer to the Timetable as a final check.

The following courses are offered for degree programs unless otherwise indicated.

Notes:
1. Third, fourth and fifth year courses may only be taken with the written consent of the instructor or the chair of the department.

2. Cross-listed courses may be taken as Biology electives. Course descriptions are listed under the appropriate disciplines. Students should be aware of prerequisites and must contact the instructor before registration. There may be a limit on the number of Biology/Natural Science students admitted to cross-listed courses.

3. Biology faculty members offer a wide variety of senior undergraduate level courses using the Biology 4610 and 4630 (Biology Tutorial I and II) platform. Students should consult the Department of Biology, and specific faculty members, for course availability.
