Bill became obsessed with Laura. In his resentment and jealousy, he raped her late one night in her hospital quarters. Tommy and Kitty tried to rebuild there marrage. Tommy learned from there daughter Sandy that Kitty was a man hungry woman. Tommy hired a p.i. and discovered she was having an affair with the married Dr.Kincaid. Feigning a heart attack, Kitty manipulated Tommy's sympathy and avoided divorce.

Susan helped Scott Banning's termanally ill wife Janet, and there adotped son Bradley in reality he was Juile's child whom she had given up at birth.
