Bolivia´s eden
Beni has an extension of 213,564 square Km. Almost totally plain, with some low hills in the west zone. Its tropical climate is generally hot and humid. In winter time, Benis is hit with cold winds coming from the south wich produce rapid changes in temperature.
Life in this beautiful piece of land goes easy with jaguars and pumas which are mimetized with the dense vegetation; caimans, and anacondas (the biggest constrictos serpents of the world) inhabit rivers, creeks, and lakes, thousands of mosquitoes fill the air, but it is also song and poetry. Forest becomes fragrant with the Luisa herb and vanilla. Hidden in the tall grass live deadly snakes and other tipical south american animals. This wild habitat is perfect for deer to breed, and have enough to eat, and for monkeys to play on the trees.

At nighttime, millions of insects and birds get together on a special wild angelus. The jaguar roars from the dense forest. Night fills up with misteries, for animals with nightvision, night becomes day.
At the break of day, bees awake, big colorful spots become butterflies which fill up the air painting it polychrom. The herds awake men. Its a new day, a new beginning.
Once seen as the territory of gold from the paititis (a tribe which the conquistadores thought had gold flowing like rivers), today Beni becomes the awaited richness its agricultural and wood industries can give to the country.
Religious misions and churches in Beni are mostly catholic, many of them were settled during colonization, nearly 400 years ago. In 1688 construction started of the Templo de la Santísima Trinidad (Holly Trinity Temple), spaniard priests became architects, carpenters, wood carvers and builders. Different religious monuments disseminated all over Beni have a unique architectural style left by the priests

The Templo de la Santísima Trinidad was built with adobes and wood. Priests, true artists in wood carving and in the work of silver ornaments, were able to set up great altars of unique beauty.
The natural communication ways, in Beni and Pando, are rivers. At their shores, small towns and cities were born. All economic movement depends on the big water arteries, which with flow tamed towards the great Amazonas.
Whoever goes in a boat ride on these unique rivers of the north, will be amazed and delighted with a view of a world where the incredible becomes reality: each curve, each creek opens natural views of incomparable agresive beauty.
Beni is Bolivia´s eden. Untamed holding infinite beauty of all natural kingdoms.
