WHY?????
IT and ICT hardware have been identified by organizations whether businesses, social or government as being vital tools in enhancing productivity of their workforce/individuals and their operational objectives. Critical competitive edge in fact could well be dependent and enhanced greatly by the utilization of these hardware that could  improve overall efficiency, quality and quantity of tasks involved in their daily effective operations.

The growth and development of information and communication technologies (ICTs) has led to their wide diffusion and application, thus influencing and increasing economic and effectiveness of organizations the world over. ICT is seen as a vital contributor towards sustainable economic growth and well-being of organizations and also plays a significant role in the shift toward knowledge-based societies.
The Internet is rapidly becoming a key ingredient in our economic infrastructure, akin to electricity and roads as well as our social structures. And its significance is poised to dramatically increase as we usher in a new era of ubiquitous sensor networks using technologies such as RFID to connect the physical world, supply chains, items, and people in real-time.  The opportunities offered by faster, more capable, and increasingly pervasive IP-based applications, both wired and wireless, promises reliability and manageability, security and privacy, interoperability of the network of networks, and enabling the global exchange of information and views.

Projects
Projects such as
Multimedia Super Corridor, CyberJaya, Smarthome, Smartschool, MyKad, E-Government and others are initiative of the government to implement a long term vision of achieving and turning Malaysia into a Knowledge Based Society. Government policies are being planned, developed, implemented and deployed as means that would expedite the realization of the above said vision.

Invitations by the Malaysian Government to multinational corporations from the world over such as

End User Hardware
With all the infrastructures being developed and newer forms of online government, private and commercial services being introduced to the masses the only outstanding tasks left are for the end users to procure IT hardware that would enable them to tap and access the overwhelming potentials of these services be it for official, busineess or even entertainment purposes. Only with the right types of quality devices would enable the end users such possiibilies and benefits. As such, IT gadets as there are seen today are no longer gizmos or toys for the affluent but in due time would be considered essential tools for families in the new society to go about their daily lives.
