Appleseed Cast The End of the Ring Wars
Cripling vocal melodies, stunning guitar lines and brilliant combinations of indie rock keep this album up there. End of the Ring Wars is a record that keeps you rocking, Appleseed cast reveal songs of soft and sweet melodies accompanied by light drum taps to express pure feeling. Moody as hell lyrics keep your interest and somehow erase all the crap that goes on in life creating a new portrait
of depressing yet soothing sounds. Piecing together everyday conflicts and struggles Appleseed Cast throw out soft vocals and harder screams to capture every last drop of reality. Poisening the usual sound of "emo" and rearanging it to form unique and attractive sounds, this record will push you down and leave you breathless.

Emerging out into the scene with their first release on wax, Texas is the Reason explode into top twenty on CMJ with ground breaking melodies captured in a stance of hard guitar. With small vocal clips at the end of each sentence, the vocals are definitly unique yet promising. This three song seven, kills all else leaving scraps of captured melodies repeating throughout your head. The set up is
amazing without lacking the least bit of any. Definitly worth the three bucks or whatever you spend on a piece of vinyl, Texas clear the crap and keep the pure sounds of indie/punk rock. A piece of vinyl that will be worn to the thread, pure butter!
Texas is the Reason 7" (revelation rec.)
Built to Spill Theres nothing wrong with love
Top of the line indie-rock flow through this record like butter on a hot plate. Built to Spill's front man, Doug Martsch (ex Tree People) bring out the essence of this record with amazing vocals and brilliant lyrics. Admittetly Theres nothing wrong.. is pretty obviously one of their best albums with every track addressing each other taking out every other release to date. Smooth as hell guitar lines combine the drum beats to form yours truly, Built to
Spill's sincere sound of pure indie rock.  Theres nothing this record lacks except the availability, taking many trips to the record shop before discovering the record. Besides, its one of the most creative and quality sounding records ive had in my hands in some time, totally worth picking up on your next trip out. Built to Spill: Theres nothing wrong with love

Mates of State my solo project
Emerging out of the scene at full force with my solo project, Mates of State head straight into Polyvinyl with this one of a kind sound of keyboard instrumentals and female lullabys. Overflowing with heartfull vocals aided with sweet guitar crys and unique keyboard melodies, my solo project show the deep undergound verson of indie rock. With songs such as proofs and la'hov combine sad scenerios with angry ballads to create emotional lullabies provided by female vocals.
This release descibes the purity of the band up to date giving the listener a unique and amazing record of sound. My solo project reveals an amazing band with hard thoughout lyrics giving anyone a wiff of the Kansas indie scene. Full proof record with impulsive hums and instrumentals.
The Get Up Kids On a Wire
Entering back into the scene with an amazing new record since, something to write home about, the Get Up Kids release on a wire pretty much picking up where something.. left off. Adding a much more "indie" sound to their music, they throw out softer and slower sounding melodies compared to the fast high pitched sounds of something.. On a wire supply amazing strings which go far in depth with their vocals such as "overdue" which sum up their new sound.
Not sure what to think when i picked up the record because of vagrant's new pop sell out sounds of other bands on the label, i was completly satisfied with the results. Throwing out complex vocal melodies (Pryor) accompained by the sounds of layed back guitar, On a wire expresses the new sounds of indie rock revealing catchy yet unrevealing emotions to perfection. No flaws and more action action, The Get Up Kids hit up the record shops with another record of soft emotional melodies shoving amazing lyrics and brilliant guitar lines into one package. On a wire has the potential to be up there with the brilliant sounds of Something to Write Home About, another creative and one of a kind release by the Boston emo mob, anyones baby.
Desaparecidos Read Music/Speak Spanish
Bright Eyes' side project Desparecidos turning up the knob to create same founding lyrics with distorted guitar. Mitchum brings in clever songs relating from Mall of America to drowing hearts and carrying out strong lyrics that tear through any audience. Read Music/Speak Spanish is definitly a record that will rise up in indie music, every track placed on the needle is a for sure masterpiece. Nominating Mitchum's lyrical pull as well as members all around sound,  patches
up every last crack or nitch making this record soundproof. Clips and hooks from who knows what address each song with a soothing edge, introducing the record to more and more astonishment. As another amazing put together record by the Bright Eyes crew, Desparecidos unleash every piece of work they have coming at full with great sounds and clever lyrics.
