Illo Tempore Film Awards History

2nd Illo Tempore Film Awards - 1892 (29th of April 2003)

1st Illo Tempore Film Awards - 1891 (1st of March 2003)

The Illo Tempore Film Awards are launched by a voluntary organisation that aims to promote the revival of the classical film.

The awards are designed to award the most successful individuals in all areas of film-making throughout the history of film. The awards have been launched in 2003. The first year of competition is 1891. The event is happening roughly once in two months.

There is no distinction of genre for any category, so a documentary, an animated picture or a short film are all treated on the same basis as a long feature. Also, most of the categories of the awards honour individuals, rather than productions.
