Qualifications for leadership

In the mind of Jesus, leadership equals servanthood first & foremost.  Unless that is grasped, then any leading that we may do is not leading at all within the Kingdom of God.

To be a servant, a person must be humble; humble enough to wash someone else's feet.  The Bible says "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble" (1Peter 5:5).  The Bible also says "Pride goes before a fall" (Proverbs 16:18).  Remember, all that you have is a gift from God.  Therefore, be humble!
