1.  Being "born again"

Although we are physically alive, for many people there still seems to be something missing inside of them - they can't seem to find happiness, peace, or joy.  The Bible says that this is because of our sins which separate us from God and each other.

The first thing we need to do is re-establish our relationship with God through being
born again.  This is achieved by turning from our sins and believing in Jesus Christ.
