6.0 SYNCHRONIZATION OF ACTIVITIES

All the structures of the Movement operate in a synchronized way based on a calendar which establishes its activities beforehand with precise dates.

There are calendars of different levels ranging from the most general of a six-month type valid for the whole Movement, to the calendar of the new group of a quarterly or even shorter type, in which the objectives to be achieved are established, highlighting the necessary steps to obtain the desired results. Every calendar should contain a fixed objective, different stages and transitions, and precise actions and dates, all within a fixed period.

There are also calendars for campaigns that are made up of a number of specific operatives which add up into a larger result. In order to be converted into a tool and not a hindrance, such campaign calendars should have a fixed time length. Any margin of correction should not exceed 10% of the total established calendar period.

For a calendar to be complete it should contain observations or comments which clarify how to implement each action.

As a structure elaborates each specific calendar, it is discussed ahead of time by the whole, based on the idea of consensus. Once an agreement is achieved and fixed, the implementation of the calendar forms a reference point for the whole. Once it has been fixed, a calendar should be modified only by:

a) A new agreement among all the members;

b) Some larger circumstance impossible to overcome; or

c) The expiration of the established time limit.

The search for consensus in a council in the elaboration of a calendar is of fundamental importance because otherwise the members tend to fulfill it only through discipline. And we know that the return from discipline is always less than the return from consensus.
