A Blanket called:

"ORLON"

Here is the blanket after a first wash.
It is still damp and wrinkled from not going through a cycle in the dryer.

This is the one with three colors of white next to each other in the pattern, that almost made me go blind.

The colors are not true in these photos, (the light grey looks pink!) but you can see the pattern where it reverses going into the belt.

This is not like my true belted blankets, in that the belt is much narrower and would normally start lower and go out higher, with only one zig at about one third from the top.

It must be washed again with a stronger soap. There is a dark dirty patch in the top part of the white, above the belt.
Then blocked to lay flat.
The edges are very straight, though it dose not look to be so, here.

The size of the piece is six ft. wide and almost eight feet long.
It is a great soft blanket for two on a cold night.
Though a little on the heavy side.
There is three pounds of yarn in the warp.

Once I have removed enough of the soil to allow the pattern to show through, I will go ahead and dry it to remove the wrinkles and take time to light and display it to get some better photos to replace these.
