Music may very well be part of the big answer to our survival.
��The 'Human Beings' appointed as caretakers are concerned that the song of the Earth Mother grows faint, with each addition of distractions placed upon her.
Consider the sounds of the universe as star music and the sounds of the natural living earth as the song of the Earth Mother.
�There are still places on earth where this spirit sound rises strong yet, so may be tuned in and easily heard.
�But If you place yourself in the proper frame of mind and quiet yourself to hear it, you will discover it to not only surround you, but to also originate from within.
�So what is the point?
��To hear, but also listen to this tune of star music, and the Earth Mother's song, is to finally understand the reason it's becoming faint, is because we have failed in our great progress, to see the earth as a living entity.
A great single entity that is made from a symbiotic relationship of all the life living upon her.
�As we strangle her breath, so too must we quit breathing. As we poison her life's blood, so too must we stop seeking a fresh pool to drink from.
�As we tune into the lesson of this song more astutely, we start to understand our folly.
We start to see that we can only eat so much corn, wear so many skins, ride so many ponies, dwell in so many kivas or hogans, hoard so many pretty shells and beads, play with so many toys.
�We start to see that we are able to live in a way that will supply a good life to the many, without raping our Earth Mother, or each other.
�As soon as we are able to understand that much of our wanting is not satisfied in the having, but instead in sharing with others, we will start to heal.
�It is in this way that we may be able to sustain our place upon this earth for more generations than just a few.
�Yes, it may be said that war will not succor as well as peace and that love may be the answer.
�But first must come understanding of what is at stake, to do less than we are able to do.
�First must be a reversal and change of heart, as well as the mind-set, for those in power and the control of how things work.
�But when looked at realistically, isn't that really you and me? Isn't it a single step that is needed to start the longest journey?
Listen to the star music in the quiet of the night.
It is always playing.
Walk in beauty.
