I'm known for doing a lot of revisions (that would be why I currently have 10 Log stories) and I've been wanting to revise Angel for a while now. I'm not entirely sure when I started writing it, but I wrote the first 13 pages and then set it aside for a while. Then on Friday (my writing anniversary and the four year anniversary of starting the original Angel) I was looking for something to write, having just finished In the Morning and stumbled across this. So I started to write it again and here we are, six days later, with a finished story. It's a break from the massively long stories I've been writing lately, with 13 chapters.

I tried to stay as close to the original story as I could but, come on, if the original plot line needed work (if you could find a plot line), then the revision could use some work too. I wanted to get rid of the whole Maker of Dreams thing, but when I decided to do that I had already finished the story and it was too critical to remove. I don't really like the way that fiasco turned out, but it's still a good story.

In case you haven't read the original Angel (which I strongly suggest you do) or if you just don't remember, this is a Taylor story. Angela Kennedy is a young Earthbound Angel, born with special abilities and a destiny to help troubled people all around the world. Her very first mission is a very depressed, suicidal Taylor Hanson, with whom she does her best to help.

Oh, and just one more thing, I put in my little tribute to the Tale of Three Brothers saga (by Jenn) towards the end of the story. Just about everybody knows and loves those stories. I, being a very big fan, decided it would be cute to salute it as so many other works have (i.e. Now Tell us What you Heard by Jessica Rose, and Zac Says Tay Still Wets the Bed by Nick).
