External Experience in Brisbane
Australia is a multi-cultural country where there are many students whose first language is not English. In order to help these students to cope with their studies and daily life, the Education Queensland (EQ) has put in many resources and many of the state high schools in Brisbane have an ESL unit.
In the STEP Programme 2002, HKU BEd students had a chance to observe and teach in some of the state high schools as an ESL. The followings are the schools at which we taught:

It was an invaluable experience for all of us to teach at our prac. schools. We had learnt a lot from our mentors and we really want to thank them.
