INTRODUCTION

        Welcome to our website! Who are we? We are students of the BEd (Lang. Ed. –English) programme hoping to share with you our experience in Brisbane, Australia.

        A month of “immersion” flew by so fast. Apart from being enlightened by our QUT lecturers and being given the opportunity to visit (and teach in) local Australian schools, our schedule was pretty much packed with outdoor activities such as abseiling and horseback riding. While gaining a different approach to looking at teaching and learning, our English was constantly being polished as we were lucky enough to live with an Australian family in their home where English was inevitable when it came to communication. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to all those who have helped in this programme which would not otherwise be successful.

        This website treasures our most memorable experiences we had in Brisbane that we would like to share with you. In addition, we have included facts and tips about being in Australia which we hope will help you when planning for your own trip.
