Our home church is Calvary Chapel Pocatello, but our finances are being handled by a ministry called Shepherd's Staff Missions Facilitators. They deal exclusively with missionary financial support for churches who aren't set up for that. So don't think we're going independent; we are so blessed to have the prayers, love, and backing of our pastor and home church. There are three ways to send support. Details are below. Checks Writing a check is fairly simple. As long as it is made out correctly, there is no question about whether or not we receive it. 1. Write the check payable to Shepherd�s Staff with the amount you wish to give. 2. In the memo line write our account number: #1326. This is extremely important. Shepherd�s Staff is a non-profit organization, and they are set up to receive donations and then distribute them as they determine. (Do not let this alarm you; all funds designated with our account number will be given to us!) Each missionary--single, couple, or family--has an assigned number with Shepherd�s Staff which helps them to distribute all funds received to the correct party. Because of their government status, any private individual�s name cannot appear on the check. This is very important and is the only way they will know to deposit it into our bank. Please, DO NOT write our names. You may enclose a separate note with our names on it. If this seems confusing, we�ve created some sample checks to help clarify. 3. Mail the check to Shepherd�s Staff: P.O. Box 27220 Albuquerque, NM 87125-7220 As soon as they receive the check, a receipt will be mailed to you with a tear-off portion which you may enclose in a pre-addressed envelope for sending future support. EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) If it's more convenient for you, Shepherd's Staff can deposit your support directly through the bank every month. 1. Print out the authorization form (requires PDF reader such as Adobe). 2. Fill in the required information, including our names and account number: #1326. 3. Mail the form to Shepherd�s Staff: P.O. Box 27220 Albuquerque, NM 87125-7220 Online Deposit If you prefer the technology, you can donate directly from the website of Shepherd's Staff. 1. From their site, select: How can I help 2. Select: donate 3. Click on: donate directly online Once a month, Shepherd's Staff deposits all the support received for us into our bank account, minus taxes, Social Security, and our required health insurance premium. If the collective amount received is below our submitted budget, we will receive whatever comes (minus taxes, etc). If it is greater than our budget, the surplus will carry over into the next month and/or be available to us upon request for extra expenses, etc. We believe that our finances should be an open book, so if you are curious about our budget, freely ask, and we will gladly share it with to you.  back to top
