Our Vision: Where We Believe God Is Leading Us
Our vision is for evangelism and discipleship
in Serbia and the Balkans, through church-planting. We also desire to see solid
Bible teaching being broadcast via radio throughout Serbia, if the Lord opens that door.
Settling In:
Our first step that we took on this journey was to move to Subotica from the Bible College in Vajta, Hungary
in October 2005. We settled in, making our home in an apartment near
the center and began getting established at the local Calvary Chapel where we both had Bible
teaching and other ministry opportunities. This is how the Lord has led us so far.
A small team from our fellowship began holding a weekly Bible study in the capital city of
Belgrade in March 2006, in hopes of making it a church plant as God opens that door.
It is a good learning experience for us to watch week by week the faithfulness of the team
as the work is slow.
We believe the Lord's call for us currently is to serve in Subotica, perhaps for a few years,
until He raises up a team we can go out with to begin a new work. However, we are unsure of
the timing, especially since recently the Lord called us to America for a season (perhaps to
raise up such a team?).
