 Home About Me Why this site? How to Navigate Firing Squad       |

Well, here's for the idiots and retards. You see the links on the left? The Main section appears on every page, doesn't matter if you're in Einhander or Resident Evil, these five appear all over. Now, they include Home (index and update page), About Me (self explanitory), Why this site? (tells why I made it), How To Navigate (where you are now), and Firing Squad (basically, it's the Whatever The Hell Else I Want To Put On This Site Goes There section, maybe like random shit I write or shit that happens or funny images, who knows). Now, that's main. There are currently six fandoms I have written for, labelled by the big long bars. Click on any of the bars to go to that specific section, and each section has a spiffy section specific banner. How cool, eh? Anyway, each section has General Information (the page you're brought to upon clicking the page in the first place), What You Need To Know (self explanitory), Fun Facts (the neat little things only a geek of the fandom might no, or something stupid I want to say about that fandom), Misc (short for miscellaneous, and this is self explanatory that it has everything else), and then Story Time (which has the reason you're here, the story for that section). Once you get to a designated story, you're given a brief summary and rundown of the basics of the story. Length, rating, etc. Then, at the bottom, you get a Chapter Selection, and you can go one by one by doing the next, or pick one out of the list. It took a while to code that chapter selection, but it works damn fine. A fun little addition was the javascript image mapping. You can see this at the bottom of every page, click on the "Return To Top" oval on the DEAD END image to do just that. It's nice when you're reading something very long. Also, the navigation bar under the banner works. Back, Forward, Refresh, Set As Homepage (It's kind of glitchy, and I doubt anyone will use that one), and Add To Favorites. I'm working on coding the bottom of the text boxes, because it should have a feature where you can IM me (if you have AIM open), email me, or go to my FFN bio page. I'll get to that later. That's a run down of the site, feel free to run around. Oh yeah, there's a lot of broken links, for now. Give me time, please. |
