The Hobbies

This site is devoted to bringing you the best in hobbies and pastimes practiced by myself, Felix. Within the site, my hobbies, pool and snooker, karting, football, video games and chess will all be discussed. I have absolutely no idea what a hobby is, or why it's any different to anything else you enjoy doing, I believed them to be pastimes practiced whilst sitting on a hard chair but it turns out they don't have to be, hobbies can be enjoyed anywhere and everywhere.

A very hard chair, ideal for practicing hobbies.

Some of my hobbies I enjoy whilst sitting in a soft chair such as video games and chess, although I have been known to sit on very hard chairs for both of these activities. The majority of my pool and snooker is played whilst standing up, though it is important to rest your legs to reduce fatigue and other ailments. This is usually done using what is known as a bar stool or chair, these tend to be harder than the standard domestic chair or sofa since they are prone to damage.

The hardest of chairs tend to be made of mahogany or diamond and were popular during the Victorian era, now these chairs are dated and softer chairs are now much preferred. The most modern soft chairs are made by compressed air, one of the softest materials known to man.

The hardest chair which I use to practice a hobby is whilst karting, these chairs tend to be made of plastic which, due to the karts absence of suspension can cause bruising and distress to the skin.
