| The Dog of Flanders Drama Pioneer (VHS) Based on the Flemish novel by Oui'da, The Dog of Flanders is the captivating story of Nello, a young boy who aspires to be a painter as great as Reubens, and Patrasche and Nello's grandfather struggle to get along, their lives are filled with happiness and love. This is no Disney picture. It's a real tear-jerker, but it's really worth at least one watch. (You'll understand a lot of obscure references made in other anime besides.) I have heard that the subbed VHS is the un-edited version of the film, while the DVD has been butchered and translated down. It is not a children's film despite the claims on the cover. |

When a Knight and a Dragon meet and fall in love, the result is Mink... It's goofy, it's romantic, it's violent, and it's undeniably one of the strangest comedies ever animated. If your taste in love runs to the extremely weird, or if you just have a thing about girls who breath fire check out Dragon Half. Sooooooo much Slime ( visit SLIME BREEDER and create your own ) and Super Deforms and least us forgets Dick Saucer or the Omlet song at the end... You can't be Otaku without knowing Dragon Half or Kodomo no Omocha. Why did they never make anymore? (I do know there is a manga, but I've yet to find it.) |
