Well, here it is.... Now with the resent edition
of Matt and likely to see more and more new writers for Hachland. It's time
for the Hachland's Babbles to get a face lift (aka new layout) as I finally
get a name for my babble. Not since my days of writing for wrestling websites
have I had a actual column name, or babble name as the point is here in Hachland.
That's big news I suppose. But well.....
Onto what I've done.... I've done some things in the past few days, since
last week, I got back on the wagon, or off. I got drunk for six days, DUH!
Had a little party Friday night, and then a bigger one Saturday night, got
some heat litereally and then some other heat. So not knowing how much heat
I will not get. Whatever that means.
Seeing that isn't leading anywhere, let's go to the Hollywood Squared Circle
of Fun!
Sizemore Sentenced to Six Months
Actor Tom Sizemore has been sentenced to six moths in jail after being convicted
of seven counts of domestic violence against ex-girlfriend Heidi Fleiss.
The Saving Private Ryan star - who was found guilty of domestic violence,
criminal threats, vandalism and making obscene and harassing phone calls
to the former Hollywood madam - looked visibly shaken in the Los Angeles
court yesterday as he heard his sentence. Judge Antonio Barreto said Sizemore
had a "huge" substance problem and ordered him into a clinic. He added the
actor "clearly needs help" in relationships with women, and further ordered
him to go on an anger management course. Sizemore was convicted of the crimes
on August 15. He was acquitted on 10 other counts.
Now my word on this... Good grief. Sizemore's best role was in Strange
Days.
Anderson Demands a KFC Meeting
Pamela Anderson is stepping up her campaign against fast food chain Kentucky
Fried Chicken's (KFC) cruel practices by insisting on a face-to-face meeting
with bosses.
The
actress/model has joined forces with animal rights group People For The Ethical
Treatment Of Animals (PETA) to raise awareness about how chickens are caged
and mistreated before they're slaughtered for consumption at KFC diners.
And now she wants to tell the fast food chain's bosses exactly what she thinks
of them. Anderson has faxed a letter to KFC parent company Yum! Brands CEO
David Novak, requesting a face-to-face meeting to discuss the cruelty that
PETA has found on KFC suppliers' farms. Her request to meet with Novak comes
hot on the heels of her call for an international boycott of KFC restaurants
until the company makes drastic improvements in the way it treats its chickens.
Anderson writes, "Since I joined the call for a boycott of KFC a few weeks
ago, I've been flooded with requests for more information. Everywhere I go,
people are asking me why KFC won't adopt the science-based animal-welfare
guidelines that PETA has recommended and that KFC's own experts have supported.
I am writing now to request a meeting to discuss what can be done to move
forward."
As for my word on this.... Pam's best role was the one she should have played
10 years ago... UNDER ME!! Hahaha... Wait, she'd be in jail... But I'd be
happy.
Who's
The Star?
Let's play a little game... Let's guess who this actor's name is... In a
pre-Halloween game, thingy.... Here's the picture.
Email me to give me the answer.
Here's a few hints:
- Had a minor role in Escape From L.A. (picture to the left)
- Starred in a trilogy
- His voice was heard in Spider-Man
- Has wrote 2 books, his second one is coming out in 2004
Speaking of Halloween, here's a little Flash I got sent, my someone from
Saint Rose. It's called Say It.
or something.
As for all those cool things that you've seen the past two weeks on Hachland
will still be around. But in different forms.. And DO NOT WORRY!!! YOU WILL
SEE THEM!
Well, that's it for this first edition of Eat The Brain, here's to the new
Hachland and to it's future. |
