Wealhhnutu March's Masked Revel

Come one and all to the delightful Masked Revel in the March of Wealhhnutu this fall. The site will once again be the Rio Rico Community Senior Center at 391 Avenida Coatimundi. The site will open at 2:00 pm for setup and will close at 11:00 pm after clean-up. There will be opportunities for table games and dancing. There will be contests for the best masks in the following categories: Your favorite SCA character; A well-known historical personage; A literary or legendary character or beast. In addition there will be a mystery contest which all who attend will find fascinating. Please assist us by bringing your favorite table games or your favorite dance music. We are considering a rapier tournament if there is enough interest expressed. Please contact us in this regard.
The Feast will be on a grand scale, and we need to know whether you prefer Beef or Chicken as your meat. As we can only serve 50 people, your RSVP with numbers of diners MUST be made on or before October 12th in order to allow the cooks to prepare adequately. Please inform us if you have any special dietary needs, and we will try to accommodate you. We will supply main and side dishes, but the populace is requested to bring desserts for the dessert table. There will be refrigeration available (and some freezer space) if necessary to preserve your offerings. Please RSVP to the autocrat, the feastocrat, or to Master Andrew of the North Shore, if you see him at an event, but be sure that your information is written down by the one you speak with.
Directions: From Mons Tonitrus, go west on Hwy 82 to Nogales, then turn left on Grand Avenue, and continue until it enters I-19 north. Go north to Exit 17, then go east on Rio Rico Drive, turn right on Pendleton, turn left on Avenida Coatimundi, and the Senior Center is on the right, just past the Swim and Racquet Club. From Tir Ysgithr (and points north) take I-19 south to Exit 17. Turn left across the freeway, and follow the directions going east on Rio Rico Drive.

As a special gift to all who come so far to grace our March with their presence, there will be no feast or site fees for this event.
