La Sagrada Familia is Gaudi's masterpiece (although it's not the most his personal creation). The work was begun in 1882 and continued during over one century. Its basic shapes influenced by Neo-Gothic conception. This temple has three facades, which each represents the Nativity (was already finished in Gaudi's lifetime), the Passion (has recently been finished) and the Glory.

On this street you'll find the most interesting buildings of the Eixample district (a district consists of modernist buildings). The greatest is Casa Mila or La Pedrera (above). In another side of the street there are Casa Battlo, Casa Amatller and Casa Lleo Morera. Casa Battlo is Gaudi's; looks very special because of its strange balconies, its large windows (which were inspired by human bones) and its colourful mosaic. To get a more beautiful sight, go there at night !
Casa Mila (La Pedrera) Its balconies have unusual looking, being decorated by wrought iron.
