Temperature
Home
Water tempature play a big role in how fast your guppies grow, so I suggest that you use a submersible heater.  The temperature should be around 76-78 degrees farenhiet.  To find the right size heater for you tank(s)  have 1 watt for every liter of water you have.  If you dont want to have a heater for some reason then your guppies will mature slower.  I dont use heaters at the moment.  1 problem I did have was that I raised the temperature to about 78 then I removed the heater.  I guess my got accustomed to the warm water and then it dropped to about 69.  All the guppies in hat tank got sick, two died, but all that were left recovered in about four.  I suggest if u use a heater and wish to remove it, let the temperature drop slowly over a few day to ensure nothing happens to your guppies that happened to mine.  Good luck!
