GTT STAGE COMPANY

In New York City the GTT Stage Company produces AEA Code productions throughout the year at numerous venues in New York City featuring an ensemble cast of GTT members. Productions include full-scale musicals, dance presentations, cabarets as well as contemporary, classic and new plays. GTT also creates theatre through joint ventures with regional, university, and community theatres throughout the Tri-State area. Touring productions are rehearsed and mounted in either New York and/or New Jersey before opening at various venues in the Tri-State area.

GTT also assists emerging film directors and screenwriters by providing a base of performers, directors, choreographers and writers who can assist with the development and evolution of new film and television works. GTT's vision is to stage professional entertainment that touches on current social issues and reflects American generations.

The company believes it's work is of great political and personal significance, and strives to fulfill the dream of a theatre that is affordable and speaks to and for it's audience. The Group Theatre Too disregards any call for individual fame and embraces cooperation and collaboration in mounting pieces that exemplify the ensemble approach. GTT is fully composed of a collection of talent who have bonded to create theatre with a closer relationship to "art".
