Sandra Hoyt
GTT Resident Artist/Member

Sandra hold a B.F.A.in Theatre from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Ms. Hoyt is currently appearing in GTT's Tri-Sate tour of "aftermath" the social awareness "respect-our-body" play. Hoyt is an accomplished regional stage performer and her favorite roles include: Celimene in Moliere's The Misanthrope, May in Shepard's Fool for Love, Meg in Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along, Angie in Front, and Grace in Working. Plus, she sang the role of 'Sally Bowles' in Philadephia's noted S.O.T.A. at 20 Years Merriam Stage, musical concert. Plus, Sandra, appeared as Jeanie in J.P. McCarrik's Dirty Laundry in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. She was in the original Off-Off Broadway cast of Chip Deffa's George M. Cohan: In His Own Words, choreographed by Justin Boccitto, at the Chashama Theater in Manhattan. In her youth she trained at the Young Performer's Workshop housed by the Centenary Stage Comany in North West New Jersey and is a 2nd Place winner in the nation-wide Charlotte Cushman's Acting Scholarship Competition. Ms. Hoyt most recently finished a tour with The Fercos Brothers and the Untamed Illusions where she was a Principal Dancer in this Las Vegas magic show. She currently resides in New York City and believes strongly in 'the material and the message' and looks forward to enjoying a healthy career in the performing arts.
