Alisa Schiff GTT Resident Musical Director aea Alisa Schiff, a native New Yorker, earned a BFA in Theatre Performance from The State University of NY at Fredonia, where she was awarded the Robert Marvel Award for Excellence in Musical Theatre. Alisa has performed at Centenary Stage Company, Astoria Performing Arts Center, Jekyll Island Musical Theatre Festival, Downstairs Cabaret Theater, New Ensemble Theatre, and has toured nationally with American Family Theatre. Alisa recently made the move into cabaret, and after NYC appearances at Dillon's, The Duplex, and Mama Rose's, she made her solo cabaret debut in the spring of 2005 with her critically acclaimed show "Mama Said ... the songs of Cass Elliot" at The Encore. Alisa is a company member of Astoria Performing Arts Center, a founding member of Group Theatre Too and a proud member of Actors' Equity.
