Joe Harrington
GTT Resident Artist/Member

Joe Harrington has appeared in the national touring company of “They’re Playing Our Song” starring Erin Moran of TV's "Happy Days" fame and was last seen performing at the note worthy Chatham Dinner Theatre in Rome, NY. Under the direction of Michael Blevins at the Centenary Young Performers Workshop, Joe played such roles as Sir Lancelot in “Camelot”, Tony in “West Side Story” and Zack in “A Chorus Line” as well as appearing in “An American Sampler” which was performed at NJPAC. Other favorite roles include Jeff in “Brigadoon”, Sky in “Guys and Dolls” and Harry Witherspoon in “Lucky Stiff”. One of his latest projects has been writing the book, music and lyrics for a new musical titled “Where Are You Going?” which will had another stage reading at Emerson last fall. Joe is a graduate of Emerson College where he received his Bachelors Degree in Theatre Education. At Emerson he played such roles as Harry Witherspoon in "Lucky Stiff" and Elliot in "Private Lives" and also hosted “Standing Room Only” a popular local radio show in the Boston theater community. Joe has also studied at NYU's Cap 21, The Performers Theatre Workshop and The Centenary Young Performers Workshop. Joe was born and raised in New Jersey and is the second oldest of five children. He enjoys playing the piano and guitar and writing music.
